After the assassination of Late Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi in
the year 1991, Mohd Shakeel Saifi formed the Akhil Bhartiya Muslim
Yuva Atankvad Virodhi Samiti (Regd.) and headed the Samiti as its
National President.
Since the last 17 years the Samiti is working towards promoting its
motive of creating awareness against terrorism and boost the spirit of
the citizens of India. With a huge strength of over 2 lakh members,
the Samiti vows to work together to make the country a terror free
zone.
The samiti firmly believes that terrorism is a worldwide issue and
cannot be solved by the government alone. So, it urges people to come
forward and take the responsibility to fight against terrorism.
The Samiti has always spoken against the killing of innocent people in
terrorist attacks. Since inception, the Samiti has used the tools like
seminars, meetings, conferences and agitation against terrorism from
in various parts of the country to make the people aware to come and
fight terrorism.
The Samiti has many eminent personalities from different spheres of
life including politicians, film stars, entrepreneurs, diplomats &
other renowned personalities coming from different castes and
religions as its members.
