People worshipping 2 faced baby born in Northern India as goddess

Tuesday, April 8, 2008

Wasim SaifiSAINI SUNPURA, India: A little Indian girl named Lali, born with two faces in a village located 31 miles east of New Dehli, is being worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess. According to her father, the girl is in good condition and local people are worshipping her as an incarnation of a Hindu goddess.

Lali’s case is extremely rare case, known as craniofacial duplication, where a single head has two faces. Besides having normal pair of ears, every other part of her facial features are duoble, which means she has two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes.

But Vinod Singh, Lali’s father who is a poor farm worker says that his daughter is fine and normal like any other child.

With the born of this two faced child, the entire village of Saini Sunpura has been sensationized. As soon as she left hospital almost 8 hours after a normal delivery, she was swarmed by villagers, who came to see this miracle girl, Director of Saifi Hospital, Mr.Sabir Ali said. Mr. Ali further added that Lali is leading a normal life with no breathing difficulties and is doing well.

Lali drinks milk from her two mouths and opens and shuts all the four eyes at one time.
Hundreds of people visit this little girl every day to touch her feet out of respect, offer money and receive blessings, her father said.
